The CT Grey conducted the club's 44th Annual General Meeting yesterday in Easton, CT. Thanks to Joe Micalizzi for being such a gracious host. Fourteen members attended in person, with another four joining via teleconference.
It is my great privilege having been voted to a second term as President of the Connecticut Grey Rugby Football Club. I thank you all for entrusting me with this crucial role. In the proud tradition of our past Presidents, I promise to do everything I can in the coming year, to advance our club, old boys' rugby, and rugby in general.
Please join me in congratulating the following officers-elect for the 2023 year:
Captain -- Kirk Perruccio;
Vice Captain -- Andy Ives;
Treasurer -- Joe Micalizzi;
Corresponding Secretary -- John DiCostanzo;
Fixture Secretary -- Lou Scigliano;
Social Secretary -- James Vivian
Additionally, Chris Carvalho has moved from the Social Secretary position to take on a more philanthropic-oriented role with the club. We thank him for his service as Social Secretary, and look forward to the great work he will do for our community in the coming year.
Congratulations, gentlemen, the club and our supporters greatly appreciate your service.
Happy holidays to our CT Grey family and the entire rugby community. --Jason
